Hello Friends,
Last Saturday was great. We loved getting out and seeing what is going on at the Black Mountain Tailgate Market! The market has a wide array of vendors that range from produce,fresh meats, cheeses, flowers,soaps, rain barrels, fresh honey and beeswax candles and the list goes on! So heed the commandment to buy local and head down to the Black Mountain Tailgate Market on Saturday from 9-12! Carolina Wigglers will be an occasional vendor and we might be doing an upcoming workshop one Saturday morning! We will keep you posted!

In other news we will once again be out at the Victory Tailgate Market on Wednesday from 3-6! Come join in on the fun and fill your pantry with fresh produce and fill your garden with organic worm castings!

In the spirit of promoting a buy local lifestyle here is the website for the Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project. The website has a list of all the tailgate markets in WNC and the surrounding areas in VA, SC and GA. So I am sure there is one in your area!

Hi folks,

I hope that your summer is continuing along with many nights spent grilling out, hiking, at the beach and just generally spending time with good friends and family!

In the last few weeks we have gotten some good exposure by being at the East Asheville/Victory Tailgate Market and at the Black Mountain Tailgate Market. Thanks to those of you who have come out to see what we are all about.

This weeks schedule is as follows!
Victory Tailgate Market @ the ABCCM Vet’s Restoration Quarters- Wednesday 3-6

Black Mountain Tailgate Market @ FBC Black Mountain- Saturday 9-12

Come out and support the local farmers and find out more about vermicomposting and where to go for all of your supplies.

This week I will be doing a bit of a photo shoot so that you can see us in action! I will also be starting a series that answers more in depth than our FAQ section on questions that folks might have!

Things have been going well out at the Victory Tailgate Market at the ABCCM Vet’s Restoration Quarters. Carolina Wigglers will be at the midweek market every week (with a few exceptions).
However, this week we are going to be trying our wings out at the Saturday Black Mountain Tailgate Market! So come out an get your local produce and vermicomposting supplies at the market from 9:00am-noon. The market is located in the heart of Black Mountain in the parking lot of First Baptist Black Mountain!

Victory Tailgate Market TODAY!

Hello Friends,

Carolina Wigglers is pleased to announce their debut at the Victory Tailgate Market (VTM) on Wednesday, July 1st from 3-6! The VTM is located at the ABCCM Veteran’s Restoration Quarters on Tunnel Rd. just past the Zaxby’s. Off of I-40 it is Exit 55- VA Hospital exit!
So come by and check out this new market and our booth! Today we will have homemade vermicomposting kits and castings available along with the worm factory for viewing!
Next week we hope to have some worm tea available! So come check us out and support this new East Asheville Market that our local Veterans are putting on!

Hello Everybody,

While Kyle and I are working on getting our website up and running we are going to be using this blog to communicate with the world! Carolina Wigglers is a small business based in Asheville, NC that specializes in meeting all of your vermiculture needs! We offer organically raised worms, indoor composting kits, castings and worm tea.
